[Illusions Episode 7]

Amazing.

Haha, oh man, don't ever stop making these. I'm happy to see you've moved up from using clipart to tracing over drawings - somehow the better graphics make this totally more watchable.

Now for plot inconsistencies: In Episode 2, Oberth i mean Wrath (which is a dumb name, Oberth was so much better) says he's looking for a friend, and by episode 4, he is intrigued and wants to meet his friend, Dracula, but by episode 5 he's completely bent on destroying Dracula for whatever reason. Along the same line, in Episode 4, he claims he doesn't know who Dracula is, but in Episode 1, Dracula came to him right at the beginning of the story.

I'm eagerly waiting for the plot to open up, now that his trip to Dracula's castle was for naught.

You didn't even manage to finish it, TLF, when it was already done, better, months ago, in a parody that to this day still holds up (on Newgrounds: /portal/view/214733).

People are growing up and losing interest. How could this take a year? Try to do something DIFFERENT, instead of using a premade story that could be finished faster by reading the comics instead of sitting through this boring and unoriginal piece.

[Weirdo Fights! Ep.1]

YUM!

The animation, wit, and timing made me gape in enjoyment. You have very pleasing skills. There's almost nothing choppy at all, and the style and pacing stays consistant throughout the entire presentation.

It had enough to satisfy me with its eye candy. I'm happy to not see so much blood. It makes the presentation satisfying.

Legendary Frog, what happened? You've gone from animating great original works to writing boring videogame parodies. NALO, did you agree to do this just for a popularity boost? Anyway, on with the review.

First we're treated to a poorly directed, unoriginal ripoff of an opening. No parachute working? Banana peel on the ground? Both directly ripped and cliché to say the least. So, now, how could we lower the intelligence en masse? People shitting out of their hips and excessive farting! HAR HAR HE FARTED LOL. No.

LADYVILLIAN[sic]'s microphone gets choppy, and her acting skills are sub-par at most (as with the rest of the cast). Meanwhile we're greeted to Snake's unmoving, occasinally blinking head for an extended period of time. The scene could be doing something to entertain us, but no, the opportunity for comedy is wasted.

Now we get to see LADYVILLIAN[sic] fire a gun into the air as if she's never held one before. Somehow it blows up a... something (which actually COMES BACK TOGETHER for three frames). Oh, and there's another one! Hooray for recycling graphics. Check out Snake's choppy jump/roll.

After LADYVILLIAN[sic] uselessly speaks again, we're treated to WOW MORE RECYCLED SCENERY. At least something else blows up this time... from an impossible angle. Although, who knows? This entire scene is so sliced up that nobody can tell where either character is. Snake runs and... WOW THIS PLACE IS FULL OF THOSE... SOMETHINGS! WHERE DO THEY ALL KEEP COMING FROM?! Oh, they're... mainframes for controlling people? That girl is a robot or something? Why does her metal print have her bandanna too? Is it part of her cybernetic body? Oh, hey, check it out, hastily drawn Playstation graphics. Suddenly the plug switches ports and GIRL is shouting again and yet another mainframe is exploding. This time for no damned reason. OH GOD SHE'S BLEEDING. She must be some some sort hybrid android! GASP! THIS REALLY IS SOME TWISTED METAL GEAR SHIT! Either that or nobody in the production room is paying attention to what the hell is going on.

Oh no, useless questions! Oh god her mouth is malfunctioning she is a robot!! Ooh, we're suddenly treated to a fast-moving picture-in-picture display that seems very out of place. Then it's time for a raping internal monologue with more out of place PiP. Finally it ends with some unnecessary gore.

And now a list of general and miscellaneous problems that most other reviewers have clearly missed:

The direction is weak, jumping from angle to angle like a Tomb Raider movie at times. Music gets inappropriate for the scenes and at times louder than the voices. Snake's head appears flat and skewed in many scenes. Spelling and grammar are atrocious (Princess Aurora is fired). Whenever anyone's speech gets cut off, there's a clear pause before anyone speaks.

The credits list 18 testers who somehow missed all this. Wowee. BUT WAIT! Not only is 30% of the script ripped, but we see something shocking in the credits! "Dustin Watts - the brains behind some of the ideas" Whoa. How much was really Legendary Frog's idea? With this much information, Legendary Frog would be better suited for the 'Special Thanks' list rather than top billing. Hey, at least NALO gets to leech some popularity off of the Legendary Frog name. HE'S SUCH A HUGH[sic] FAN!!!

Honestly, I'd like to see the "script" for this hastily thrown together "parody" along with the fight scene storyboard. The entire production stinks of a 5-minute idea. Shame on you. Bring back the classic Legendary Frog original content and stop these stupid ripoffs, please!

Haha, dumb.

Oh god this flash turned from dumb to neat to retarded. An RO flash with a plot. I guess that's a point above the rest...

And they're all speaking Japanese when RO is a Korean game.

Other than that there's not much to say. It's just sprite graphics with a few poor edits... and they're all laughing and chatting normally when that one guy is bleeding to death. "LOL"

Also if you wait about five minutes after the screen turns white, it plays again automatically. Guess someone doesn't know the stop(); command.

Could've been better.

First off, nix the buttons that don't say what they are until waiting three seconds to appear at the title screen. Also, I don't like the pronunciation 'Balamb' and 'Quistis Trepe.' On the same note, Sephiroth, Tidus and Wakka never swear. Next, half the voices are good, but the other half are horrible, namely Wakka. Even for an impression it really sounds nothing like him. The direction felt very poor, as many times there would be a large unnecessary pause between lines. Lip synching was just as bad, along with the multiple traced images. It's just like any other horrible NG submission only with some time and energy put into it. So what IS original in this? Nothing, probably.

The secret scene is dumb and makes no sense. I hope you purchased Advantage's album for that song.
