Fun.
Fun, but why eagles?
Why eagles? Because they are just cool!
Excellent! ...until it ends.
Congratulations, you had me scared and freaked out. The use of the flashlight and the noises and the unexpectedness... it was all overwhelming. I commend you on your ability to set a mood.
However, the experience was incredibly short, and the end was totally lame. I manage the New Age section of my bookstore, and I read about all those things all the time (those things withheld to avoid spoilers), and that juat doesn't cut it. There wasn't enough information in the game for even the intelligent player to come close to the "Real Story of What Happened"
To complete the game, all you need to do is click seven times.
If it was longer and had a better ending, I would've enjoyed this exponentially more.
Sexy.
Wow, this is an excellent game we have here. Play control is smooth, the challenge and difficulty curve are well done, and the graphics and sound are impressive.
...unfortunately, the game lasts for only 15 minutes or so and has very litle replay value, as there's only one level and nothing extra to explore.
If it was longer, had more depth, and perhaps had a story to go along with it, this would have been a great submission.
Yarr. This be troubled waters.
Someone needs to learn what a dificulty curve is. The game starts out moderately difficult. I was able to handle the first two enemies, learning how the battle system works. The third one became a test of patience, as it was dragging on for 10+ minutes.
Then the fourth enemy sent me over the edge. I couldn't take the torture of dying and starting all over whenever I chose the wrong move, so I gave in and cheated.
Sorry, but if a game feels more like work than a game, then it isn't a game anymore. It's a repetitive chore with no satisfaction. At least this flash had a bit of strategy. Next time, make something that goes somewhere. That seems to be a big problem amongst NG flash artists.
Oh, god, it continues.
When I saw this in the new submissions, I screamed, "No! Why, God, why?"
The second day in this adventure that makes no sense about a kid that wants to go to a toy store is executed horribly. Even worse than the first. I thought Day 1 was bad, but it shines in comparison to Day 2.
Imagine a game filled wtih puzzles that make no sense. A game with objects that are annoyingly hard to click on. A game that is so buggy that it is unfinishable -- really, if someone can click on the damn kid at the toy store that runs from left to right, I'd like to see what happens.
Oh, wait. No, I wouldn't.
*gag*
Oh god, an adventure game that lasts one minute. Twelve clicks of my mouse that encouraged me to vomit with every awful, poorly presented scene.
So you burn a book because you want to go to a toy store. And then you go to sleep or something. Then loud music blares as the credits roll. GAME OVER.
That was pretty.
Aww, cute game. Too bad it loses its replay value really fast.
Crappy DDR imitation
This seems like a plug for a band more than anything else. Basically, you sit and mash the buttons while listening to some music, and then it gives you an arbitrary number about how "well" you did.
The effort put forth in this was minimalistic. Try much harder next time.
A plug for a band...that's mainly what it is. And it took me about 4 hours, so yeah it was minimalistic. But there are 3 different levels and an arcade level. I really don't have to "try" for another time. And all this must be tough for you because you haven't even had a first time. You're a flash virgin, and that "number about how 'well' you did." is also known as a score...do you even play games?
